High school senior · Aspiring Engineer / Chemist / Physicist
I am a senior in high school who enjoys art just as much as science. I find interest in observation of the natural elements of our world and use that curiosity as my driving factor.
Currently: Creating two stained glass works for my school's main academic building as part of my senior capstone project.
About
I grew up in a household where curiosity and individual expression was encouraged and celebrated. My questioning mind drives me full steam ahead towards my passions and interests to be in service of others.

Activities
Traditional Chinese Painting Club President
I taught my peers bi-weekly on traditional Chinese painting techniques. Grew skills and knowledge of Chinese Painting.
Student Pilot
As a member of the Christ School Aviation Program, I completed flight hours, simulation hours, ground school lessons at AVL Regional Airport. Overcame my natural fear of heights.
Peer Tutor — Math & Science
Tutored my peers 2-4 times a week during my free blocks. I tutored classes ranging from Algebra 1 to Multivariable Calculus, as well as all physics and chemistry courses offered at my school.
Artworks
I work mixed media - sticking to simply one medium doesn't fully express what I wish to expressively illustrate.
Washer Method as the Eye
Drawing
I found a correlation between the washer method of integration and the side view of an eye with the functions √sinx and 1/2.
The Sunlight in the Sky
Photography
Looking out a plane window at sunset. I felt in the moment that I had captured a fraction of sunlight right in the plane.
Everything's Closed
Drawing
One of my first drawings. In middle school, COVID-19 just was beginning, and I was isolated for much of every day. What I drew here expressed what I felt before I learned to communicate my feelings effectively.
Senior Capstone
Four Pillars & The Chapel
For my senior capstone, I am designing and creating two sizable stained glass pieces to go in the main academic building on my school's campus. One piece is to be representative of my school's four pillars; the other is to depict the bell of our chapel. I am using this project to leave a lasting impact on my school, as well as adding interior decoration via colored light to add to the academic building that I spend the most time out of my weekdays in.
